Storage boxes are essential to getting organised - true or false?
Well, there's no straight answer to this question. Let me take you through two scenarios.
Imagine you've got lots of stuff at home and are beginning to feel completely overwhelmed by the sheer volume of your belongings. Nothing is stored but there are lots of piles of things spread throughout your house.
Solution One: You decide that things would be a lot better if you had somewhere to store everything. You go out and buy a selection of storage boxes. When you get home you carefully transfer your stuff into the boxes.
Unfortunately you now have boxes full of muddled possessions and are scarcely any better off.
Solution Two: You realise you've got too much stuff and that you don't even know what you have got. You decide to begin sorting and as a consequence realise there are some things you can part with. After several visits to local charity shops you decide you need a storage system. Because you've already sorted things you know what sizes of box would be most useful and you buy sturdy boxes of the right size to store different things.
Decluttering before considering storage solutions is always the best way. This means that you don't waste your money on unnecessary storage boxes and that there is some logic to how things are stored. This of course means it's much easier to find things.
I recommend Really Useful Boxes as being the best designed and sturdiest plastic storage box on the market. I can advise on the best sizes for your situation and also supply direct to clients, making it even easier to get organised.
